Elinor Driver

Art, Music, Teaching and Healing have been core themes for Elinor. She completed her Reiki training and breakthrough counselling course while still in high school at Roseway Waldorf School and then went on to graduate from Michaelis School of Fine Art with Distinction in Anthropology (2012). She then spent several years teaching in South Korea to raise funds for her B.Ed in Waldorf Teacher Training from the CCE (2019). While at CCE she first came across the incredible gift of the Bridging Polarities exercises and participated in the 2 year facilitator training course. Subsequently she has also trained in the Extra Lesson working with children who need learning support. She has over 10 years choral experience, most recently with Vox Cape Town and is a member of the School of Practical Philosophy and a new mom. She is fascinated by how movement, sound and art processes can allow internal blockages to ease and new self-understanding to blossom and how play, joy and the release of internal judgement through mindful presencing can reduce stress levels and anxiety and improve motivation and wellbeing.

Elinor is currently a class teacher at Starseed Community School, a Waldorf-inspired initiative that is passionate about equal access to education and is unique in its income-based fee structure.
